## About the Role

We're seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. You'll support small to mid-sized business environments, both remotely and on-site, handling escalated issues and working closely with the rest of our team to deliver reliable IT solutions.

This client-facing role requires not just technical ability but a service-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively with end users and peers alike., * Minimum 5 years in IT support, with at least 3 years at an MSP

 * Comfortable with PSA, RMM, MDM, and documentation platforms (ConnectWise experience is a plus)
 * Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows Server, and networking technologies
 * Experience supporting line-of-business applications such as QuickBooks
 * Familiarity with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) and Apple device, * Can explain a technical problem to a business owner without condescending or oversimplifying
 * Documents thoroughly, so the next tech picking up the ticket isn't starting from zero
 * Owns tickets end to end and updates the client before they have to ask
 * Comfortable moving between a server migration and a QuickBooks issue in the same day
 * Curious about new tools, and we'll pay for the certifications to go with it

## Description

* Provide remote and on-site support for Microsoft 365, Windows desktop environments, and general end-user issues
 * Troubleshoot and maintain Windows Server environments, firewalls, VPNs, and networking components (e.g., VLANs)
 * Execute infrastructure projects such as server migrations, upgrades, and hardware refreshes, including cutover and rollback planning
 * Support and maintain backup systems and disaster recovery solutions
 * Support line-of-business applications including QuickBooks and client-specific vertical software
 * Handle escalations from other technicians and resolve complex infrastructure issues
 * Use the ConnectWise suite (Manage, Automate, Control) for service delivery and documentation
 * Communicate clearly and professionally with clients of all technical backgrounds
 * Document work thoroughly and follow internal processes to maintain service consistency
 * Collaborate with the internal team to share knowledge and improve processes
