## About the Role

* Professional experience in UX/UI, Product Design, Interaction Design, or Human-Machine Interface (HMI) design.
 * Experience designing interfaces for physical products, consumer electronics, embedded systems, IoT devices, industrial products, smart-building technology, or other hardware/software integrated products strongly preferred.
 * Strong proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping/design tools.
 * Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered product design, interaction design, and prototyping.
 * Experience taking products or interfaces from early concept through prototype and product development.
 * Ability to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering and product teams.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Product Designer to join a product development team designing a new purpose-built device for facilities management. This is a ground-up product development effort involving the design of the user experience and interface for a custom physical device.

The primary interface will be designed for the custom device, although elements of the user experience may also extend to tablets or mobile devices.

Responsibilities

 * Design the UX/UI for a new custom electronic device from concept through product development.
 * Translate facilities-management workflows and user requirements into intuitive device interactions and interfaces.
 * Develop user flows, wireframes, interaction models, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs.
 * Use Figma and similar UX/UI design and prototyping tools to develop and communicate design concepts.
 * Work closely with product managers, engineers, hardware designers, and other team members throughout the development lifecycle.
 * Participate in user research, usability testing, design reviews, and iterative product development.
 * Help establish the interaction patterns and design system for a new product platform.
