This is a hands-on position with a mix of remote and onsite support., Required: * 2+ years of hands-on professional IT support experience, preferably in an MSP, business, or corporate IT environment * Experience troubleshooting Windows 10 and Windows 11 * Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 * Experience managing users and computers in Active Directory * Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and basic switching * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Good customer service and communication skills * Comfortable working through problems independently * Able to manage multiple tickets and prioritize your workload * Able to write clear and useful ticket notes * Willingness to learn new technologies Experience with any of the following is a plus: * MSP environments * RMM and professional IT ticketing systems * Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD * Group Policy * Windows Server * VMware * Business networking equipment * VoIP and business phone systems * Structured cabling * Security cameras and access control * CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant certifications, * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation * Ability to travel to client locations throughout Southeast Michigan * Mileage reimbursed or use of a company vehicle for qualifying business travel * Must be able to pass a State of Michigan LEIN/CJIS background check * Ability to sit, bend, and twist * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, * IT Support / Help Desk: 2 years (Required) * Computer networking: 2 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * Fenton, MI 48430 (Required) ## Description * Respond to client support requests by phone, email, and remote support * Troubleshoot Windows PCs, Microsoft 365, printers, email, and common business applications * Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems * Install, configure, and deploy computers, monitors, printers, and other hardware * Create, modify, and disable user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 * Set up computers and accounts for new employees * Troubleshoot common network and Wi-Fi issues * Work with TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP when troubleshooting connectivity problems * Use remote monitoring and management tools * Maintain clear and accurate ticket notes * Communicate technical issues clearly and professionally with clients * Follow tickets through to resolution and keep clients informed * Recognize when an issue needs to be escalated to a senior technician * Travel to client sites throughout Southeast Michigan when onsite support is needed * Assist with hardware installations and structured cabling projects when needed, * Windows 10 & 11 * Microsoft 365 * Active Directory * Windows Server * VMware * Business networking * Remote monitoring and management tools * Business phone systems * Security and access control systems * And more You don't need to be an expert in everything listed above.
