## About the Role

n

 * M.Sc. Computer Science or related technical field with a focus on (Data) Platform Engineering
 * Proficiency in building secure and scalable data platforms using cloud technologies with focus on security, networking, authentication, etc.
 * Proficiency with cloud providers (e.g. Azure, AWS) and container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
 * Proficiency with CI/CD (preferably GitHub Actions) and IaC (preferably Terraform / Terragrunt)
 * Experience with Databricks / Spark, data lakes as well as SQL- and NoSQL databases
 * Experience with development and operation of distributed systems
 * Excellent programming skills (e.g. Python or GoLang) and basic experience with Data Science or Machine Learning
 * Excellent spoken and written communication skills in German & English

## Description

* Improve and extend the current analytics and AI infrastructure (built around Databricks)
 * Drive the data platform by observing the fast Data and AI landscape and bringing in new ideas
 * Maintain our stack by extending our setup with security measures, monitoring, auditing, policies, and (data) observability
 * Build tools, templates, and processes (e.g. CI/CD) for efficient data ingestion and management
 * Enable colleagues from the Liebherr Group by providing guidance, best practices, and blueprint architectures
 * Support Data Scientists and Data Engineers with Data and AI tooling
