Experience implementing and managing support of electronic medical record systems * Knowledge of operations, systems and functions, including planning, design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation supporting healthcare revenue cycle * Academic institution or large integrated health system experience * Experience working with integrated applications * Experience formulating strategies and administrating policies, processes, and resource management while supporting charging and billing within clinical information systems and implementing complex projects and/or application development * Leading a team of people, whether in a project manager role or another position is a key aspect of project management experience * Demonstrated knowledge of business operations and the process of gathering and leading end-user requirements to improve or implement new system designs with a high degree of autonomy * Ability to apply advanced problem-resolution skills to highly complex issues, quickly diagnose problems, and develop, test and implement appropriate and effective solutions in a timely manner * Advanced ability to serve as a technical leader and information resource, and to work collaboratively with key personnel and management, providing guidance and recommendations on systems, improvements, upgrades, and industry advances and trends * Skills to learn assigned applications and meet proficiency testing requirements, and to maintain certification in assigned applications * Managed Hospital Billing and/or Orders implementations from the discovery phase to go-live with Health Organizations utilizing Epics Clinical Charging Methods. * Familiar with Clinical Charging methods and comfortable working directly with the Clinical Analyst in managing the Charging workflows * Assisted Organizations with their implementations by preparing and testing integrated charging workflows to ensure revenue neutrality at go-live. * Manage stakeholder relationships and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes * Skills such as risk management, mitigations strategies and conflict resolution for managing projects, * Sustained attention and concentration - Frequent 3 to 6 Hours * Complex problem solving/reasoning - Frequent 3 to 6 Hours * Ability to organize & prioritize - Frequent 3 to 6 Hours * Communication skills - Frequent 3 to 6 Hours * Numerical skills - Occasional Up to 3 Hours * Constant Interaction - Occasional Up to 3 Hours * Customer/Patient Contact - Occasional Up to 3 Hours * Multiple Concurrent Tasks - Frequent 3 to 6 Hours ## Description Team leader with a high degree of knowledge in the overall field and recognized expertise in specific areas; problem-solving frequently requires analysis of unique issues/ problems without precedent and / or structure. May manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources, functions with a high degree of autonomy and limited direction. This senior analyst position supports clinical information systems aligned with UC Davis Health goals. This position is responsible for analysis, design, implementation, maintenance and high-level technical support of assigned clinical applications. This position will exercise initiative, originality and judgment in applying established principles and practices to new and unusual problems. Incumbent collaborates with technology infrastructure teams to assess and support application. Collaborates with faculty in the hospital departments and clinics, implementing and supporting specialized, complex distributed clinical information systems and multiple complex ancillary/patient care systems. Incumbent has the responsibility for supporting large, complex and/or unique projects that affect multiple departments and will include product analysis and assessment, recommendation, implementation, testing and roll-out of new technologies.
