## About the Role

Required:

 * 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
 * Strong PostgreSQL skills - including complex queries, performance tuning, and optimization.
 * Experience designing scalable backend architectures and making core product/architectural decisions.
 * Hands-on experience with scalable async processing or real-time processing systems.
 * Experience building products for AI-first or communications-enabled platforms.
 * Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and/or Python.
 * Demonstrated ability to take a product from 0 to 1 and own it end-to-end.
 * Strong collaboration instincts - comfortable translating customer problems into product decisions with cross-functional teams.
 * Willingness to work on-site in Berlin, Germany (this is a dealbreaker requirement).

Nice to Have:

 * Familiarity with Temporal.io, Twilio, or Modal.
 * Prior experience at a startup or early-stage company.

## Description

* Work closely with customers to deeply understand their problems and design product experiences that solve real challenges.
 * Build and scale backend infrastructure capable of handling thousands of concurrent AI phone calls per day.
 * Craft intuitive front-end user experiences tailored to an AI-first product paradigm.
 * Own high-stakes projects from initial concept through production launch and post-release support.
 * Contribute to core architectural decisions alongside a senior, driven engineering team., * Languages & Frameworks: TypeScript, React, TanStack, Node.js, Python
 * Database: PostgreSQL
 * Infrastructure & Tooling: Temporal.io, Twilio, Modal
