## About the Role

* Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience
 * Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
 * Demonstrated prior experience with influencing across functions and teams and delivering value at scale
 * Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex technology problems across various technical disciplines
 * Extensive practical cloud native experience
 * Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
 * Deep expertise in building and operating large scale, high performance, business critical applications (full stack) with distributed systems and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
 * Deep expertise with enterprise design patterns and industry best practices with experience using modern technologies and design patterns (e.g., micro services, APIs, Agentic, etc.)
 * Deep expertise with Agentic AI
 * Experience with mentoring technology teams and next level leaders within the organization
 * Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment working with geographically distributed teams

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 * Experience with financial, payments and/or digital banking systems
 * Preferred experience with specific cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) beyond the required expertise
 * Experience with AI/ML, LLM, Agentic AI and Generative AI is required
 * Advanced certifications or degrees in relevant fields that could enhance the candidate's ability to perform the role
 * Experience with implementing industry standard cybersecurity & technology controls
 * Strength in executive presentation skills and ability to influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment
 * Excellent communication skills and ability to present and communicate effectively with key stakeholders across product, technology, data and design
 * Strong organizational and management skills
