Familiarity with Power BI and other Microsoft SaaS solutions. Experience in refactoring existing data models and data layers. * Knowledge of agile development methodologies, with excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. * Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in an agile environment. Fluency in English - mandatory; German is a plus. * Ability to work 80-100% and at least three days onsite, two days remote (based on 100% pensum). * SAS knowledge is an advantage; insurance industry experience is a plus. * Familiarity with AI technologies and GenAI platforms is a strong advantage. ## Description Are you a skilled Data Engineer / Software Developer with a passion for working with cutting-edge technologies - both on-premise and in the cloud? As part of a multi-year program, the Data Warehouse of Allianz has been expanded and modernized. Professional extensions and integrations within the ecosystem are now taking place in the context of agile development. In parallel, the transformation towards Azure Cloud - using Databricks, (maybe Azure Fabric), and Azure SQL - is actively on the agenda. In this exciting position, you will work across both Oracle DWH (supposed to be decommissioned) and Azure Cloud environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the optimal performance and seamless integration of our data solutions.
