This equates to a Doctorate and 4 years, master's and 6 years, bachelor's and 8 years, associates and 10 years or HS diploma and 12 years.\n * Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.\n * Available to travel up to 20% of the time.\n * Available to work flexible hours, to include weekend support.\n * Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.\n ## Description The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos has an opening for a Senior Tier II Network Technician to support the customer's computer data communications systems, in providing design specifications, testing and inspections for computer networks; plan and implementing upgrades; as well as, analyzing and organizing corresponding hardware and software combined solutions through network modeling.\n \n \nThe job duties of the Senior Tier II Network Technician are as follows:\n \n \n * The Tier II network field technician will support the installation and maintenance of the client LAN/WAN devices.\n * Respond to and resolve incidents, demonstrate troubleshooting skills and communicate with the team.\n * Complete assigned tasks within Service Level Objectives/Agreements (SLOs/SLAs).\n * Draft and implement standard network change requests.\n * Provide support to Tier III network engineers for incident management and projects (site surveys, TEMS, coordinate and install new equipment).\n * Perform configuration management functions such as update topology drawings, ensure asset management records are accurate, and conduct inventory.\n * Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
