## About the Role

Education: A Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.

Experience: 8-10 years of experience in software engineering is required. This includes experience with large-scale systems software design and development, as well as in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems. Candidates must be able to work onsite five days per week.

Technical Skills: A solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design is necessary. Experience in programming with a focus on problem diagnosis and resolution is required. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Mechanical or electrical knowledge is a plus.

## Description

* Develop, prototype, and maintain web-based applications, automation solutions, and internal tools.
 * Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects.
 * Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions.
 * Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications.
 * Implement system software and customize to client requirements.
 * Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans.
 * Code new programs and create test data for testing.
 * Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing.
 * Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation.
 * Provide quality assurance reviews and perform post-implementation validation of software.
