## About the Role

* 3+ years of application development experience
 * Hands-on experience with Angular
 * Experience supporting or developing applications in the banking or financial services industry, * Minimum of 3 years of application development experience.
 * Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
 * Experience with one or more of the following technologies:
 + Angular and/or React
 + ASP.NET
 + C#
 + VB.NET
 + Visual Studio
 + PowerShell
 + Salesforce
 + RPA
 * Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Experience with application testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
 * Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
 * Ability to coordinate application change management and deployment activities.
 * Strong communication and collaboration skills with business users, project teams, and external vendors.
 * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
 * Demonstrated ownership and accountability., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
 * Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing system applications in the banking industry.
 * English proficiency required.
 * Knowledge of financial instruments, wholesale banking, lending, or market risk management preferred.
 * Experience with SWIFT messaging and payment systems preferred.
 * Experience with SharePoint administration preferred.
 * Experience with UiPath Studio (RPA) development preferred.
 * Understanding of application security and change management best practices preferred.

## Description

This position is responsible for application development and operational support for a Japanese bank in the U.S. The IT Specialist will develop, maintain, and support business applications and related databases to meet business and operational requirements.

 * Develop, maintain, and support business applications and related databases.
 * Support application testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
 * Create and maintain technical documentation.
 * Coordinate application change management and deployment activities.
 * Communicate and collaborate with business users, IT teams, project teams, and external vendors.
 * Contribute to continuous improvement, automation initiatives, project delivery, and operational excellence.
