 * Strong understanding of cloud migration methodologies.
 * Experience troubleshooting enterprise applications and distributed systems.
 * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
 * Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

 * Experience migrating applications from Rackspace or other legacy hosting providers.
 * Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
 * AWS Certifications.
 * Experience working in highly regulated or secure enterprise environments.

## Description

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Application Engineer (Windows/.NET Cloud Migration) to support the migration and modernization of enterprise applications into AWS. This individual will partner with engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to migrate legacy Windows-based applications, optimize cloud environments, and improve scalability, security, and reliability across a complex enterprise ecosystem., * Lead the migration of Windows/.NET applications from a legacy hosting environment into AWS.

 * Assess existing application architecture and recommend migration and modernization strategies.
 * Configure and administer Windows Server and IIS environments within AWS.
 * Deploy and support workloads using AWS services including EC2, ECS/Fargate, and S3.
 * Containerize applications using Docker where appropriate.
 * Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and deployment issues throughout the migration lifecycle.
 * Partner closely with architects, DevOps engineers, infrastructure teams, security teams, and application developers.
 * Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, and production deployments.
 * Develop technical documentation, migration runbooks, and operational procedures.
 * Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
