## About the Role

* Must be a U.S. Citizen.
 * Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (1-2 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.
 * Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
 * Strong communication and presentation skills.
 * Must be able to prioritize and self-start.
 * Must be adaptable/flexible as priorities shift.
 * Must be enthusiastic and have passion for learning and constant improvement.
 * Must be open to collaboration, feedback and client asks.
 * Must enjoy working with a vibrant team of outgoing personalities., * 7+ years of software development experience
 * Strong hands-on experience with cloud-native development on AWS
 * Proficiency with modern languages/frameworks and CI/CD
 * Experience with automated testing and secure coding

Preferred Qualifications:

 * AWS certification
 * Serverless / event-driven development experience
 * Federal IT experience; AI-assisted developer tooling

## Description

The Senior Developer builds and delivers core platform services on native AWS. You will implement complex features, uphold code quality, mentor developers, and make effective use of AI-assisted development tooling across the SDLC., * Design and implement complex, cloud-native features and services on AWS

 * Uphold code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices
 * Mentor developers and contribute to technical decisions
 * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated tests
 * Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Amazon Q Developer) across the SDLC
 * Troubleshoot, optimize, and harden production services
 * Collaborate with architects and BAs to refine and deliver stories
