## About the Role

* Experience: 1+ years of experience in administrative support, data entry, health insurance, or employee benefits operations preferred.
 * Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating and switching between multiple systems simultaneously (CRMs, carrier web portals, and internal benefits software).
 * Detail Orientation: Exceptionally thorough with high accuracy in fast-paced environments (very little room for error).
 * Problem-Solving Ability: Strong critical thinking skills to investigate data mismatches before escalating.
 * Licensure (Preferred): An active Health Insurance License is a plus, but not required (opportunities to obtain long-term available).

## Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, execution-focused Application Coordinator to join our growing health insurance software and benefits administration team.

This role is a key operational partner in the enrollment lifecycle. You will process incoming enrollment applications after completed client meetings, review documentation for accuracy, manage incoming work queues, resolve discrepancies using critical thinking, and submit applications directly to insurance carriers.

Track status from submission through approval and final effectuation.

 * Data & Payment Verification: Confirm binder payments are posted before deadlines, verify auto-pay accounts are correctly configured, and manage incoming work queues systematically.
 * Documentation & Queue Management: Log notes, maintain complete records in CRMs (such as HubSpot) and carrier portals, and resolve missing documentation gaps.
 * Critical Thinking & Issue Resolution: Analyze data discrepancies (such as premium mismatches or variable errors), troubleshoot application rejections, and escalate complex issues to leadership when necessary.
 * Compliance & Collaboration: Adhere to strict HIPAA guidelines and SOPs while handling sensitive personal information. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline enrollment workflows., * Peak Season Availability: Must be able to support National Open Enrollment (Annual Enrollment Period / AEP) from November 1 to December 15, which requires 100% mandatory overtime (including some weekends) with overtime pay provided.
 * Blackout Window: Mandatory PTO blackout period runs from November 1 through February 1.
 * Travel: Ability to attend two mandatory, week-long full-team on-site events each year (typically February and September) for company-wide collaboration.
