## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
 * 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT systems, platform engineering, or systems administration.
 * Experience with troubleshooting complex technical environments.
 * Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
 * Experience working with virtualization, cloud, networking, or enterprise applications.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 * Ability to work independently in a remote environment., * Previous experience supporting federal government or DoD environments.
 * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
 * Experience with automation and scripting tools.
 * Industry certifications such as Security+, Network+, Azure, AWS, or comparable certifications.

Clearance Requirements

 * Ability to obtain and maintain required government credentials or security clearance, if applicable.

## Description

MKS2 is seeking a Mid-Level PIVOT Engineer to support a dynamic government-focused technology environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for engineering, integration, maintenance, and support activities associated with PIVOT systems and related infrastructure. This role requires a strong technical foundation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities

 * Configure, maintain, and support PIVOT platform components and associated systems.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system performance, availability, and functionality.
 * Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
 * Monitor system health and analyze logs to identify and resolve issues proactively.
 * Collaborate with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and customer stakeholders to meet mission requirements.
 * Develop and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.
 * Participate in testing, validation, and deployment activities.
 * Provide technical recommendations for system improvements and optimization efforts.
