## About the Role

* Minimum of 3 years' experience within a desktop support or system admin role.
 * Able to work under pressure, maintain a positive attitude and be respectful in the work environment.
 * Must be available to travel to client locations in the Bay area.
 * Must be available on weekends, Holidays and on-call support on a rotation schedule.
 * Basic knowledge of AWS, Azure, Servers, Active Directory, Office 365, VPN, Cisco Meraki and Microsoft Products is required., * Customer support: 2 years (Required)
 * iOS: 1 year (Preferred)
 * Windows: 2 years (Required)

## Description

TransSIGHT is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide support for desktops, VDI, and endpoint devices. You will also provide application support to employees. This role involves regular hours, evening and weekend support. Maintain computers and related hardware. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and installation of software and hardware., * Provide prompt response, technical assistance, and resolution for incoming queries and issues.

 * Enter, review, update and maintain the Help Desk ticket system.
 * Communicate ticket status and manage end-user expectations based on an established SLA.
 * Route help desk tickets to the appropriate team for resolution.
 * Document and create user knowledge base articles.
 * Create, modify, and maintain user accounts and groups within Active Directory/Office365.
 * Manage workspaces in AWS.
 * Manage Dell Wyse clients.
 * Perform root cause analysis and run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
 * Install, modify, and repair computer hardware, peripherals, and software.
 * Deploy new computers using imaging software and established procedures.
 * Other duties as assigned.
