 * Experience with Camunda and BPMN-based workflow orchestration
 * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (such as Terraform) and GitOps delivery models
 * Experience with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, and/or Dynatrace in large distributed systems
 * Familiarity with ISO 8583 and/or ISO 20022 integrations, reconciliation patterns, or settlement workflows, Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
 * Experience supporting debit, payments, or other high-volume transaction platforms in regulated environments

## Description

· Define and evolve target-state architecture for debit and payments services using modern distributed-systems patterns

· Lead domain-level technical ownership across multiple services, ensuring high availability, low latency, and operational excellence

· Drive modernization initiatives, including platform upgrades and decomposition efforts, with clear risk management and rollback plans

· Establish and enforce API governance, schema/versioning practices, and engineering standards through design reviews and reference implementations

· Improve reliability through service level indicators/service level objectives, runbooks, post-incident learning, and capacity planning

· Build and mature observability practices, including distributed tracing and metrics that cover synchronous and asynchronous workflows

· Partner with security, risk, and compliance stakeholders to ensure secure engineering practices and audit-ready controls

· Standardize event streaming and messaging practices, including idempotency, retry strategies, and dead-letter queue handling

· Mentor and coach senior and lead engineers, strengthening engineering practices across squads

· Communicate technical strategy, tradeoffs, and delivery plans to senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners
