Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Quality Systems Engineer - **Company:** Precision Castparts Corp. - **Location:** Gardena, CA, United States - **Experience:** Expert - **Salary:** $100,000.0 - $125,000.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Office, Statistical Process Control (SPC) - **Published:** August 10, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=fc3ef0808cb5c365 ## About the Role * Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience. * Minimum of 5 years of quality engineering or quality systems experience in aerospace or medical manufacturing. * Must have hands-on experience working within an AS9100 Quality Management System, including internal audits and/or QMS audits. * Experience managing corrective actions, root cause investigations, and effectiveness verification. * Experience developing and maintaining Quality Management System documentation. * Process improvement experience, including Six Sigma and/or Statistical Process Control (SPC), is preferred. * Nadcap experience is strongly preferred. * Experience supporting FAA, regulatory, registrar, or customer audits is preferred. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications., * Strong knowledge and practical application of AS9100 Quality Management System requirements. * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings, technical procedures, specifications, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedures, corrective actions, and Quality Management System documentation. * Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills. Experience with 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D, or similar corrective action methodologies is preferred. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, customers, auditors, and regulatory representatives. * Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. ## Description The Quality Systems Engineer, under minimal direction, is responsible for maintaining and supporting assigned elements of the site's Quality Management System.
