The ideal candidate will design and implement processes for the efficient transfer of (ETL/ELT) between systems within and outside the agency; design and develop dashboards, summaries and visualizations using agency data and solutions such as MS Power BI; and assist with data model designs and physical data model implementations. Additionally, this position will assist with the development and maintenance of OIC's data warehouse using cloud solutions such as Snowflake and Azure Data Factory. At the full performance level of the position, the candidate should be able to collaborate with systems administrators to set table access security, provide some data governance, write platform specific code for data migrations and visualizations (Python, SQL, Java, Dax), and monitor cloud and on-premise databases and stores utilizing logs, load test results, and, Under the direction of the Information Technology Supervisor, advises & consults with users on accessing various databases & to resolve data conflicts & inappropriate use of data. * Resolves Tier I issues. * Promotes system security & awareness by adhering to the Agency's &/or State's IT security policy(s) & standards. * Provides performance tuning for query language statements. * Reads & interprets query plans. Provides monitoring using vendor supplied & 3rd party utilities.
