## About the Role

* Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles with a strong understanding of computer hardware and operating systems
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and help desk systems for ticket management
 * Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows (including Windows Server), macOS; ability to troubleshoot across platforms
 * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze technical issues quickly and accurately
 * Excellent communication skills to effectively assist users at all levels of technical proficiency
 * Ability to troubleshoot hardware failures and perform equipment repairs or replacements as needed
 * Knowledge of security protocols including firewall management and VPN setup for secure remote access
 * Understanding of network troubleshooting tools and techniques for diagnosing connectivity problems
 * Experience supporting mobile devices and managing IT infrastructure components is preferred

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems. Your expertise will help optimize user experience, troubleshoot technical issues efficiently, and support the overall technological health of our organization.  * Manage help desk systems to track, prioritize, and resolve user requests promptly
 * Support computer networking tasks including LAN (Local Area Network), TCP/IP protocols, DNS (Domain Name System), VPN (Virtual Private Network), and firewall configurations
 * Support operating systems including Windows (various versions), macOS, and Microsoft Windows Server environments
 * Troubleshoot equipment problems related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals
 * Maintain and support IT infrastructure components such as routers, switches, and wireless access points to ensure reliable connectivity
 * Conduct analysis of technical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
 * Manage customer support tickets efficiently while providing exceptional service to end-users
 * Assist with hardware upgrades, computer management tasks, and software installations or updates
