## About the Role

Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident (Green Card) status required., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

 * 5+ years of FPGA development experience using Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
 * Experience with Xilinx FPGA development tools.
 * Strong knowledge of timing closure, resource optimization, and complex FPGA design.
 * Experience with embedded Linux and kernel driver development.
 * Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up and system debugging.
 * Experience with image sensors, video pipelines, or other high-bandwidth data systems.
 * Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

 * PCB schematic review experience.
 * DSP or image/signal processing experience.
 * Manufacturing test or production support experience.
 * Technical leadership or system architecture experience.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal FPGA/Embedded Systems Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and optimization of FPGA-based image acquisition and processing systems. This role focuses on developing high-performance FPGA solutions, embedded Linux integration, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver advanced hardware and software solutions.

Responsibilities

 * Design and develop FPGA logic for image acquisition, processing, and high-speed data movement.
 * Optimize FPGA performance, timing closure, and resource utilization.
 * Develop and support embedded Linux systems, including kernel drivers and hardware bring-up.
 * Perform system integration, validation, troubleshooting, and debugging.
 * Document architecture, design, testing, and deployment activities.
 * Partner with software and hardware engineering teams throughout development.
