## About the Role

* A bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
 * Experience with IT, Instructional Technology, A/V Event Support Services, Video Technologies, or other related fields is preferred.

## Description

* Maintains technologies that support the teaching and learning mission of the University.
 * Deploys technology hardware and/or software applications via in-person and virtual assistance for students, faculty, staff and selected guests.
 * Supports and utilizes monitoring tools to troubleshoot incidents and enhance the availability of services.
 * Participates in the development and assessment of academic technologies and supports learning-based technologies in multiple formats.
 * Performs equipment refreshes and hardware installations; troubleshoots to identify issues and initiate fixes and resolutions.
 * Supports campus network access to support computers and mobile devices; coordinates with vendors and contractors to meet customer needs for out-sourced technology support.
 * Maintains any required auxiliary equipment pools to supplement and/or replace deployed equipment and technologies.
 * Performs testing, inspection and monitoring to assure established expectations are met.
 * Conducts orientations and training sessions to build user skills; assists UTS and Emory staff to support back-to-school efforts and related events.
 * Researches new products to remain current with market trends and recent technology requirements, and provides product recommendations to ensure effective operability and customer satisfaction.
 * Performs related responsibilities as required.
