* 5+ years of firewall engineering experience
 * 3+ years of strong, hands-on Palo Alto Firewall experience
 * Experience with enterprise-scale Palo Alto deployments, migrations, and hardware refresh projects
 * Strong knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (BGP and OSPF)
 * Experience supporting large enterprise/data center environments
 * Ability to create, modify, migrate, and troubleshoot firewall rules
 * Experience planning and executing firewall migrations
 * Analytical mindset with the ability to challenge and validate proposed changes
Experience working in highly regulated or compliance-driven environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

 * Palo Alto PCNSE Certification
Experience with Palo Alto VSYS (Virtual Systems)

## Description

Insight Global is seeking a Firewall Engineer for a utility and critical infrastructure client. This individual will be responsible for supporting large-scale Palo Alto firewall environments within highly regulated enterprise data centers. The engineer will play a key role in major hardware refreshes, software upgrades, and infrastructure expansion projects that support systems responsible for electric grid operations. This position is 100% focused on firewall technologies and requires deep expertise in Palo Alto platforms, firewall migrations, policy management, and dynamic routing protocols.
