Minimum 7+ years of experience in automotive embedded hardware development and electronic product design environments., * Hands-on Hardware Design Engineer with strong automotive electronics experience * Strong ownership mindset and ability to independently drive technical activities * Clear and effective communicator capable of presenting technical information to customers and internal stakeholders * Comfortable working in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills * Customer-focused engineer capable of balancing technical requirements and business objectives * Able to provide technical leadership while remaining actively involved in product design Must Have: * 7+ years of automotive embedded hardware development experience * Strong experience with schematic design and electronic hardware development * Experience supporting PCB layout and hardware design activities * Experience with WCCA, engineering calculations, and hardware simulations * Experience designing for EMC and supporting EMC validation activities * Experience with CAN and LIN communication integration * Experience supporting automotive OEM or Tier 1 development programs * Experience with requirements management and requirements traceability * Strong communication, presentation, and technical leadership skills * Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering Good to Have: * Codebeamer experience * DOORS or Polarion experience * Cadence tool suite experience * APQP knowledge * ISO 26262 Functional Safety experience * ASPICE knowledge * Seating systems experience * Interior electronics experience * Mechatronic systems experience * Actuator or motor control systems experience ## Description * This position is focused on the design, development, validation, and launch of embedded electronic hardware supporting automotive seating, comfort, actuator, motor, and interior system applications. * The engineer will lead hardware development activities from requirements analysis and hardware architecture through schematic design, PCB development, validation, and production launch.
