Experteer Overview As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will support space-related missions by identifying and protecting Mission Relevant Terrain assets. You will map MRT-C dependencies, assess cyber risks, and develop mitigation plans to safeguard mission execution. You'll produce deliverables such as risk analyses and asset defense strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a mission-driven environment. This role offers impact in national security cyber operations and space programs, with a clear path to advanced certifications and leadership in security strategy. Compensation / Benefits * Identify and categorize Task Critical Assets (TCAs) and cyberspace dependencies for mission operations * Perform physical and logical MRT-C mapping documenting devices, links, services, applications, protocols, OS, hardware, software, and external infrastructure * Conduct programmatic cyber risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans * Identify critical information flows,
hazards, vulnerabilities, mitigations, and unacceptable mission losses * Produce MRT-C deliverables (briefs, background mission info, risk analysis, asset defense strategy) Tasks * 3+ years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer supporting space-related programs * Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, vulnerabilities, threat intelligence, risk analysis, RMF, secure architecture, and networking * Knowledge of Space missions including missile warning, missile defense, and missile track programs * Ability to work independently and in a team * Secret clearance * Bachelor's degree * DoD 8140 Intermediate Certification (Security+, GSEC, or CSSLP) Key requirements * health benefits * life and disability benefits * retirement benefits * paid leave * tuition assistance * professional development
