## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
 * Minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering design experience.
 * Minimum of 6 years of Classic ANSYS/Mechanical FEA experience.
 * Minimum of 3 years of Siemens NX (CAD) experience.
 * Strong understanding of:
 + Structural analysis
 + Fatigue and life assessments
 + Turbomachinery component design
 + Engineering drawing interpretation
 + GD&T principles and tolerance stack-up analysis
 * Experience working with PLM or Teamcenter configuration management systems.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 * Ability to work effectively in a remote, globally distributed engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Master of Science in Engineering or a related discipline.
 * Experience supporting gas turbine fleet, service, or aftermarket engineering organizations.
 * Prior experience leading or supporting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations.
 * Experience supporting urgent field issues and engineering service requests.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
 * Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, services, and operations teams.

## Description

In this role, you will serve as a technical expert responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability, and availability of critical turbine components through advanced engineering analysis and data-driven decision-making., * Develop and execute high-fidelity Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models for gas turbine hardware.

 * Evaluate components under complex thermal and mechanical loading conditions.
 * Assess component performance and identify potential design improvements.

Component Life Assessment

 * Perform lifing analyses including:
 + Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF)
 + High Cycle Fatigue (HCF)
 + Creep
 + Oxidation
 + Fracture Mechanics
 * Support component reliability and long-term fleet health initiatives.

Dynamic Analysis & Evaluation

 * Conduct structural, modal, and forced response analyses.
 * Develop and interpret Campbell Diagrams.
 * Evaluate dynamic behavior and vibration characteristics of turbine components.

Root Cause Analysis & Technical Support

 * Provide rapid technical support for Engineering Requests (ERs) from field and service teams.
 * Lead or support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations to identify failure mechanisms.
 * Develop and implement sustainable corrective actions and long-term solutions.

Technical Communication

 * Present analytical findings and engineering recommendations to internal stakeholders.
 * Support design reviews through clear, concise, and data-driven presentations.
 * Collaborate effectively with global engineering teams working across multiple time zones.
