Journey level requires an additional one year of experience. Some of these include ApplicationXtender, Evisions, ePrint, Jaggaer, Intellistack, DocuSign, PeopleAdmin, Cornerstone, AppWorx, and PIRATEtime. In addition, this team supports PCI software/compliance and tools for the university. This team works closely with other teams within EA and ITCS on initiatives and projects. The team also manages security for Banner (ECU's ERP system) and the aforementioned software. Primary Purpose of Position The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical administration, support, and lifecycle management for administrative enterprise applications within the Admin Systems team of ITCS. The position supports the design, installation, testing, configuration, and maintenance of applications and related services, including deploying software updates and maintaining existing systems. This role collaborates with campus partners to understand business requirements and assist in translating those needs into effective technical solutions. The position participates in the implementation and support of application enhancements, work with vendors to troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing system support to clients. This position serves as a primary technical resource for assigned applications and participates in change management processes, including supporting upgrades, enhancements, and configuration changes. As an application administrator, the role helps ensure system availability, communicates planned maintenance, and responds to incidents or service disruptions in a timely manner. Work performed in this position impacts supported systems and their users, including faculty, staff, students, and perspective students. The position independently resolves routine and non-routine technical issues, perform system diagnostics, and documents solutions for knowledge sharing. In addition to primary responsibilities, the position provides backup support for other team-supported applications and services, contribute to documentation, participate in team and enterprise projects, and may assist in training or knowledge transfer activities. The standard work schedule for this position will need to be adjusted to meet the position requirements, which include and are not limited to evening and weekend hours to perform scheduled and unscheduled workload requirements to maintain University operations.
