## About the Role

This career requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree and at least 16 years of overall IT experience.

It also requires:

 * Ability to install and configure vCenter server
 * Experience with ESXi cluster servers
 * Strong technical knowledge of VMWare products: vSphere, vCenter, &/or Aria Suite
 * Experience implementing NSX, SRM &/or vSAN in DR or failover operational environments
 * 3 years experience in infrastructure architecture and design complex distributed systems environments, including failover techniques, recovery/rollback, and application partitioning.
 * Experience monitoring the health of VMs operating in various data centers

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Masters in programming, computer science, or related field

 * Understanding of network & storage architectures, including peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID, Ethernet) and multi-processor designs (SMP)
 * Experience virtualizing enterprise applications
 * Experience with AWS
 * Experience with VMWare 7
 * Strong networking expertise
 * Experience with cloud migration
 * Experience with (automation/operations) integration across IT infrastructure
