## About the Role

* 2-4 years of experience working with server hardware, data center operations, or related IT infrastructure roles
 * Understanding of server hardware components (CPUs, memory, storage, power supplies, network interfaces)
 * Knowledge of data center operations including rack installation, cable management, and environmental monitoring
 * Ability to follow established procedures and apply technical knowledge to complete assigned tasks
 * Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols
 * Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs and work in data center environments
 * High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
 * Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation as needed

Bonus Qualifications

 * CompTIA A+, Server+, or similar hardware certifications
 * Experience with Dell, HP, Cisco, or other enterprise hardware platforms
 * Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems

## Description

* Install, configure, and decommission servers, storage systems, and network equipment in data center environments
 * Follow established procedures to complete rack and stack operations, cable management, and hardware labeling
 * Apply troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve hardware failures and performance issues
 * Complete routine hardware maintenance tasks including firmware updates, component replacements, and system health checks
 * Support data center operations by monitoring environmental conditions and responding to alerts
 * Convey technical information clearly with team members, clients, and vendors during hardware-related activities
 * Maintain accurate documentation of hardware inventory, configurations, and maintenance activities
