Preferred Qualifications * Proficiency in SQL database development and familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python. * Knowledge of Agile Development frameworks and methodologies. * Experience with software development tools such as Git and Jenkins. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support complex engineering tasks. * Background in mathematics or computational modeling is a plus. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. ## Description * Develop and implement database solutions using SQL to support Naval projects. * Demonstrate proficiency in one or more programming languages, specifically C, C++, Java, or Python. * Support senior developers in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, integration, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions. * Apply Agile development principles to ensure flexibility and adaptability in meeting changing project requirements. * Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers to deliver high-quality, mission-critical software solutions., * Be part of a passionate team that has provided over six decades of exceptional service to the Naval community in Dahlgren, VA. * Work on mission-critical projects that modernize DoD weapons and sensor systems and directly support Navy initiatives. * Build your career in a collaborative environment that values innovation, teamwork, and professional growth.
