Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Configuration Management Engineer (level 4): * Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 4 years of related engineering experience. * Prior professional experience managing, updating, and maintaining software configuration management documentation * Prior professional experience authoring and maintaining workflows for software related issues in Jira Working knowledge of Git, including experience with a Git remote such as Bitbucket or GitLab. * Working knowledge of Git, including experience with a Git remote such as Bitbucket or GitLab. * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs. Preferred Qualifications for both a Principal Configuration Management Engineer and Sr. Principal Configuration Management Engineer: * Familiarity with NIMBUS. * Differentiating characteristics include demonstrated leadership, teamwork capabilities, strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills. ## Description * Participate in the management, update, and maintenance of all related F35 software development procedures and configuration management documentation to help ensure that all customer requirements are fulfilled. * Review contracts to determine documentation requirements for all phases of the software development lifecycle. * Prepare CM delivery artifacts and aid the CM and development teams to ensure timely F35 software deliveries. * Author and maintain workflows in Jira and help determine how these workflows can be implemented in GitLab. * Prepare for occasional CM audits.
