Upper-intermediate is also fine, as long as you can communicate clearly in a professional setting. * Proven track record of building, shipping, and iterating on software applications, particularly in the Fintech domain. * Solid foundation in algorithms and data structures. * Experience designing and implementing web services, including REST APIs. * Familiarity with architectural patterns such as Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, and practices like A/B Testing, Feature Flags, and Gradual Rollouts. * Domain Expertise: Experience in building and maintaining payment systems, financial disbursement solutions, or compliance-driven platforms is highly desirable. * Knowledge of security protocols, compliance standards, and KYC/AML processes. * A passion for developing products that make a real impact on millions. * Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies. * Excellent collaboration and prioritization skills in a team-oriented environment. * Curiosity and/or experience in Fintech is a plus (equivalent competencies will also be considered). * These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered. ## Description In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the core architecture of our Fintech Platform. You will work in one of our three squads-Payments, Disbursements, or GRC-to build, optimize, and scale the backend microservices that drive our financial operations. This is a unique opportunity for a talented engineer who is passionate about secure, high-performance financial systems and has experience in building solutions that handle complex payment, compliance, and disbursement workflows., * We are technology agnostic and value candidates with diverse backgrounds.
