Additional desired qualifications: * CCNA, equivalent, or higher-level networking certification. * Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds or ManageEngine OpManager. * Understanding of Linux operating system basics. * Experience with Fiber Optic and CAT6 cabling installation and troubleshooting. * Familiarity with Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC), Cisco Secure Firewalls and Palo Alto Firewalls. * Experience working with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Meeting Server (CMS), and Cisco Expressway. * Knowledge of Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) protocol management and interaction. * Working knowledge of TACLANE encryptors ## Description Looking for a skilled Network Administrator opportunity at a place you can make an impact every day? Serco supports the 705 Combat Training Squadron (CTS), Kirtland AFB, NM as the prime on the DMOC (Distributed Mission Operations Center) Infrastructure, Development and Engineering (IDE) contract. The 705 CTS provides training at scale to prepare warfighters for combat in joint and coalition environments. This team works fully onsite at Kirtland AFB, NM. As a member of our team, you will be part of a small group of professionals dedicated to supporting this critical mission. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training events, as well as maintaining and optimizing LAN and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) network systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in networking principles, hands-on experience with cryptographic security devices, and a deep understanding of layer 2/3 routing and switching.
