The successful candidate must possess a broad range of knowledge and experience across multiple, diverse service areas; strong expertise in continuous improvement methodologies; proficiency in change management; excellent leadership and personnel management skills; and extensive experience in performance measurement and tracking., Technical background and understanding of Communications principles preferred. Must be willing to work off shift hours as needed to execute management responsibilities. This position will have formal supervisory responsibilities., * Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of prior relevant experience. * Ability to delegate and track multiple projects at the same time. * Ability to develop, motivate, and effectively manage the workforce. * Strong work ethic and willingness to work as a team. Preferred Qualifications: * Field experience with network systems and applications in an Operations and Maintenance environment. * Experience with KSC transmissions systems or similar network topologies/systems. * Experience working either for NASA or on a NASA prime contract in communications systems. ## Description The AEGIS program at Leidos is seeking a Technical Manager to serve as the manager or lead for the Data Transmissions Systems Product Team on the AEGIS contract at Kennedy Space Center (KSC).
