Basic Qualifications for the** **Associate Engineer Software Quality:

 + Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, CIS, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.

 + U.S. Citizenship required.

 + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

 + Experience with MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

 + Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, CIS, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.

 + Experience with software quality processes, procedures, and related process-control documentation, ensuring compliance.

 + Active Secret Clearance.

 + Experience with Software Quality Assurance standards and best practices.

## Description

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented **Associate Engineer Software Quality** located in **Buffalo, NY.** _This position is fully on-site._

What you'll get to do:

 + Supports software inspection, testing, verification, and validation.

 + Implements and oversees software development and maintenance methods.

 + Ensures reliability measures meet acceptable standards.

 + Defines operating criteria to align the software quality program with project, process, and contract objectives.

 + Guarantees project and process-control documentation complies with requirements and contracts.

 + Contributes to reviews of software designs, change specifications, and plans for contractual and process compliance.

 + Evaluates applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
