## About the Role

* 6+ years of software testing or quality engineering experience.

Technical Skills

 * Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and software development lifecycle.

 * Experience in testing web, API, database, and integrated enterprise applications.

 * Experience in working in Agile development environments.

 * Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools.

 * Strong SQL and data validation skills.

Additional Skills & Competencies

 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

 * Self-driven, accountable, and able to work independently.

 * Continuous learner with a passion for improving technical and testing skills.

 * Experience in Finance and/or Hospitality domains is a plus.

Education Requirements

 * Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

## Description

* Lead testing activities for medium to large projects and strategic initiatives.

 * Develop test plans, test cases, test data, and testing approaches based on business and technical requirements.

 * Execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, API, and data validation testing.

 * Identify, document, prioritize, and communicate defects, risks, and quality concerns.

 * Perform root cause analysis and support defect resolution efforts.

 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality goals and acceptance criteria.

 * Support release validation, deployment testing, and post-release verification activities.

 * Analyze system behavior and data to validate business processes and system integrations.

 * Identify opportunities to improve test coverage through automation and reusable testing assets.

 * Utilize AI-assisted testing techniques and tools to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.

 * Ensure test evidence, documentation, and deliverables meet organizational standards and compliance requirements.

 * Mentor junior engineers and share testing best practices across teams.

 * Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

 * Assist in defining and tracking quality metrics and reporting project test status., This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Manager of Test Engineering. You will have 5-6 peer teammates and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
