## About the Role

* Must be a U.S. Citizen.
 * Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (2 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.
 * Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
 * Strong communication and presentation skills.
 * Must be able to prioritize and self-start.
 * Must be adaptable/flexible as priorities shift.
 * Must be enthusiastic and have passion for learning and constant improvement.
 * Must be open to collaboration, feedback and client asks.
 * Must enjoy working with a vibrant team of outgoing personalities., * 1+ years of software development experience (including internships/projects)
 * Familiarity with a modern programming language and version control
 * Eagerness to learn cloud (AWS) and Agile delivery

Preferred Qualifications:

 * AWS exposure
 * Federal IT interest/experience
 * Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tooling

## Description

The Junior Developer contributes to platform feature development on native AWS. You will implement well-scoped stories, write tests, learn from senior engineers, and use AI-assisted development tooling as part of the standard workflow., * Implement well-scoped user stories and bug fixes

 * Write unit tests and participate in code reviews
 * Learn and apply the team's cloud-native and secure-coding standards
 * Use AI-assisted development tools across the SDLC
 * Collaborate with the team on refinement and delivery
 * Support documentation and testing activities
