Required Technical Skills * IBM Storage (SVC / IBM Flash Systems) * NetApp Storage (multi-node / clustered environments) * Brocade Fibre Channel Switches / SAN administration * Veritas NetBackup (enterprise backup/restore) * Storage migration and refresh projects * Change management processes * Basic scripting/automation (Ansible experience) * Experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible (running and developing playbooks). Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in large financial institutions or global payment networks. * Exposure to cloud or hybrid storage environments. * Experience handling large-scale data migration projects. * Strong project coordination experience across multiple enterprise teams. Project Focus * Replacement and modernization of IBM SVC storage arrays. * NetApp cluster refresh and upgrades. * NetBackup node replacement and modernization. * Large-scale SAN infrastructure (6000+ ports) management. * Enterprise data migration initiatives (including platform-to-platform transfers). * Security and compliance-driven infrastructure updates. Soft Skills * Strong communication and collaboration across multiple enterprise teams. * Ability to manage complex, cross-functional infrastructure projects. * Detail-oriented with strong focus on change control and operational stability. * Ability to work in a high-availability, mission-critical environment., * Strong preference for candidates from large financial institutions (e.g., Client, Client, Client, Visa, Client). * Client experience is a plus but not required. ## Description We are seeking an experienced Backup & Storage Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise-scale storage systems within a global payments network environment. This role focuses on managing, maintaining, and modernizing large-scale storage infrastructure including IBM storage platforms, NetApp systems, and enterprise backup solutions.
