## About the Role

* Experience in embedded software and firmware development.
 * Experience developing software for microcontrollers (MCUs) and microprocessors (MPUs).
 * Experience with real-time embedded systems.
 * Experience developing applications in RTOS environments.
 * Experience with FPGA-based architectures is preferred.
 * Exposure to VHDL or Verilog is a plus.
 * Experience with closed-loop control systems.
 * Experience with temperature control and sensor feedback systems.
 * Experience with PID control algorithms.
 * Experience supporting software verification and validation activities.
 * Knowledge of IEC 62304 medical device software lifecycle standards.
 * Strong collaboration and communication skills.

## Description

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and support embedded software and firmware for medical device systems in a regulated, safety-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities

 * Design, develop, and debug embedded software and firmware for medical devices and regulated systems.
 * Develop and maintain software for MCUs and MPUs in real-time embedded systems.
 * Develop applications running in RTOS environments.
 * Work with FPGA-based architectures for signal processing, hardware acceleration, and control logic.
 * Work with VHDL/Verilog-based FPGA systems as needed.
 * Develop and tune closed-loop control systems.
 * Work with temperature control, sensor feedback, and PID control algorithms.
 * Support software verification and validation (V&V) activities.
 * Follow IEC 62304 medical device software lifecycle requirements.
 * Collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Firmware, and Quality Assurance teams.
