This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, data visualization, product design, and human-computer interaction. The ideal candidate will take ownership of building sophisticated client-facing applications and the reusable frameworks that support them. This person must possess strong engineering skills and exceptional visual judgment, with a deep understanding of how design choices can materially elevate the way complex financial information is understood. The Principal Engineer will partner closely with product and engineering teams to balance usability, performance, and maintainability. The initial focus will be on delivering a small number of distinctive, high-quality client applications, with a mandate to extend this work into a scalable, firm-wide standard. This is a high-ownership opportunity for a builder who combines technical rigor with practical execution to turn complex data into clear, durable systems.
