## About the Role

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on supporting business-critical applications, industrial software platforms, and system integrations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Ignition, software development, and production support in a fast-paced operational environment., * 4+ years of software development or application support experience.

 * Hands-on experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation.
 * Experience with one or more programming languages such as C#.
 * Experience developing or supporting WEB APIs and system integrations.
 * Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Experience supporting operational technology environments.
 * Experience with MQTT and Ignition MQTT modules.
 * Experience with IIS and web-based application hosting.
 * Experience with Azure DevOps, source control, and CI/CD practices.
 * Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
 * Experience supporting mission-critical production systems., * A self-motivated engineer who enjoys solving problems and supporting business-critical systems.
 * Someone who can work within existing applications while helping drive modernization efforts.
 * Strong ownership mindset and willingness to take issues through resolution.
 * Ability to balance project work with production support responsibilities.
 * A team player who collaborates well with business users, technical teams, and vendors.

## Description

* Design, develop, maintain, and support Field Technology applications and integrations.
 * Configure, develop, and support Ignition applications, dashboards, and system integrations.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and integration issues.
 * Develop and maintain APIs, services, and backend processes.
 * Participate in application modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
 * Support production deployments, upgrades, patches, and system maintenance activities.
 * Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
 * Create and maintain technical documentation and support materials.
 * Participate in incident response and operational support activities as needed.
 * Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver technology solutions.
