Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Spring Boot. * Experience with React.js. * Experience working in service-oriented or service-driven architectures. * Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases. * Experience supporting high-volume, customer-facing applications. * Experience within financial services or regulated industries. * Exposure to Customer Service as a Service (CSaaS) platforms., * Enjoys both building new features and improving existing systems. * Is comfortable working in and supporting legacy technology environments. * Understands large-scale, customer-facing enterprise applications. * Can balance production support responsibilities with ongoing development work. * Communicates effectively across geographically distributed teams. * Takes ownership of delivering reliable, high-quality solutions. ## Description We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Java Engineer to support and enhance a mission-critical customer service platform used by phone banking teams for customer and account maintenance. This high-volume application supports approximately 80% of call center interactions, making reliability, performance, and customer experience essential. As a member of the Customer Information View (CIV) team, you will work in an Agile environment to deliver new capabilities, improve existing functionality, and maintain enterprise-scale applications that directly impact customers and frontline banking operations. What You'll Do * Design, develop, maintain, and enhance full-stack Java applications. * Build and support web applications using Java, Spring MVC, JSP, and JavaScript. * Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and service-based solutions. * Support authentication, authorization, and customer account management initiatives. * Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues in production and non-production environments. * Implement business-driven enhancements while ensuring system stability and performance. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product owners, and engineers across the U.S. and India. * Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives. * Contribute to modernization efforts while maintaining critical legacy applications., You may contribute to projects including: * Customer authentication and security enhancements. * Customer account access and maintenance improvements. * Youth account management and permissions capabilities ("Smart Start" initiative). * Application modernization and platform stability initiatives. Team & Culture * Customer Information View (CIV) Team. * Agile/Scrum development environment. * Global collaboration model: + 4 team members in the United States. + 4 team members in India. * Strong focus on teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement., This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring: * 3 days per week in the Columbus office. * Standard business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
