The ideal candidate is an experienced SAP ABAP developer with excellent communication skills, strong documentation abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality technical solutions., * 5+ years of hands-on SAP ERP ABAP development experience in SAP ECC 6.0.

 * Experience working across multiple SAP ERP modules.
 * Strong knowledge of:

 * Enhancement Framework
 * SAP Workflows
 * Adobe Forms
 * SmartForms
 * SAPscript
 * ABAP on HANA
 * Experience optimizing SAP applications for performance and efficiency.
 * Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
 * Experience creating clear technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience supporting SAP HR Benefits and Payroll.
 * Experience developing payroll reporting solutions.
 * Experience working within a government or public sector environment.
 * Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to team members., * SAP HR Benefits and Payroll.: 1 year (Required)

## Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Support Specialist with strong expertise in SAP ERP ABAP development to support a large public sector technology environment in Sacramento, CA. This is a full-time onsite contract opportunity where you'll develop, enhance, and maintain SAP HR Benefits and Payroll solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams., * Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP applications within SAP ECC 6.0.

 * Support SAP HR Benefits and Payroll development initiatives.
 * Develop and maintain payroll and benefits reports for business users.
 * Automate business processes related to employee benefits administration.
 * Develop custom reports involving payroll deductions, retroactive adjustments, and payroll data analysis.
 * Create technical documentation for applications, enhancements, and support activities.
 * Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
 * Collaborate with functional analysts, business stakeholders, and technical team members.
 * Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to less experienced team members.
