 * Strong skills in using SAP, including MRP systems required
 * Demonstrated abilities in communication, organization, and persuasion are essential.

 * Strong in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
 * Skilled in multitasking and prioritizing actions

## Description

* The Junior Buyer supports procurement functions.
 * This role contributes to efficient sourcing and purchasing of MRO, packaging, and other materials, helping drive cost-effective resource management.
 * By managing purchasing processes and supporting strategic initiatives, this role is essential to maintaining operational excellence across the site.
 * Oversees all MRO purchasing processes for the San Diego site, including managing quotes, bid waivers, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
 * Responsibilities also include placing purchase orders for capital expenditures, supporting the reconciliation of goods receipts with invoices, and actively participating in daily planning meetings.
 * Monitors supplier performance, with a focus on quality and on-time delivery. Proactively identifies alternate sources to enhance supply chain resilience and expedites orders to mitigate delays.
 * Vendor reports are regularly reviewed to ensure order fulfillment and to address any discrepancies.
 * Collaborates closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service to support product launches and execution plans.
 * Additionally, works with the Supply Chain team to ensure accuracy in packaging cycle counts.
