Bonus / Preferred Skills * Access & Broadband: Experience with GPON/XGS-PON (e.g., Calix, Adtran) or TR-069 telemetry. * Routing & Transport: Cisco or Arista platform experience; familiarity with legacy optical transport gear. * Fixed Wireless & Security: CBRS/Fixed Wireless experience; familiarity with basic network segmentation and administrative MFA rollouts. * Tooling: Familiarity with Oxidized (config backups), NetBox (IPAM/DCIM), or telecom billing/CRM ticketing integrations (e.g., NISC iVUE). ## Description Role Overview We are seeking a versatile Network Monitoring & Infrastructure Engineer to lead the optimization of an open-source network monitoring environment (LibreNMS) for a regional communications client. This project centers on converting an existing LibreNMS platform into a high-trust, highly reliable monitoring system by resolving alerting logic gaps, eliminating noise, and improving topology visibility.
