* 3+ years of IT experience with demonstrated leadership, project ownership, or team lead responsibilities

 * Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and IT compliance best practices

## Description

We are working with a respected, mission-focused organization supporting veterans to identify a Senior IT Systems Lead who will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving the organization's technology environment.

This position is ideal for a hands-on IT professional looking to grow their leadership responsibilities. The role combines technical support, infrastructure oversight, project coordination, and vendor management while serving as a key resource for day-to-day IT operations., * Serve as a lead technical resource for internal IT operations and end-user support

 * Coordinate with external managed service providers (MSPs) to ensure timely issue resolution and service delivery
 * Support and maintain Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and related systems
 * Assist with infrastructure management, system upgrades, and technology improvement initiatives
 * Help drive cybersecurity best practices, system reliability, and operational efficiency
 * Provide guidance and support to junior IT staff and end users
 * Participate in IT planning, prioritization, and project execution
 * Support multiple locations and travel occasionally to regional sites as needed
 * Document processes, procedures, and technical environments
