## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative course work
 * 5+ years actuarial experience or a Master's Degree with 3 + years of experience.
 * P&C industry experience with a preference for Commercial Lines pricing experience.

Licenses & Certifications:

 * ACAS or FCAS designation is strongly preferred; non-credentialed candidates may also apply and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Skills: Technical/Functional Skills:

 * Fluent with Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
 * Solid understanding of pricing principles
 * Familiarity with database tools - SQL/DataBricks
 * Familiarity with data analytics tools - R/Python
 * Familiarity with multivariate analysis and GLM development/maintenance, The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. ## Description

The Pricing Actuary supports both growth and profitability targets of various MGUs as detailed below. This role is responsible for performing analysis across a diverse set of programs including both property and casualty coverages in a quick paced and entrepreneurial environment., * Assist in portfolio remediation and the development of new programs

 * Improve the effectiveness of existing pricing models, develop new models as required and work with UW teams to ensure understanding and buy-in.
 * Communicate results and strategy to carrier partners.
 * Assist in the compilation of portfolio-level statistics, with opportunities for dashboard development/maintenance.
 * Assist in the evolution of rating tools.
 * Perform vendor evaluations and seek ways to enhance efficiency, profitability and growth.
