In this role, you will interpret complex requirements and detailed specifications to identify appropriate fields for data extraction, apply analytical techniques for data validation and cleaning, and prepare large datasets for in-depth analysis. You will select appropriate patient cohorts, develop sophisticated programming strategies to configure data according to researchers' specifications, and validate results to ensure they meet research expectations. Using analytical and programming tools such as Python, SQL, SAS, R, or Stata, you will work with electronic medical records, health services data, and claims data to provide a robust analytical foundation for research projects.
