The specialist validates results produced by development and O&M teams and participates collaboratively in the testing process. The specialist executes established automated tests, reviews requirements and test artifacts, conducts independent validation, and advises NIH leadership. The position does not duplicate the O&M contractor's testing staff or create an adversarial IV&V structure.
