## About the Role

* 6+ years of professional software-engineering experience, with significant work on complex backend applications.
 * Experience decomposing a monolith
 * A track record on systems where correctness is non-negotiable, and the habits that come with it: idempotency, reconciliation, reversible migrations, and safe cutovers.
 * Proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Rust, Python, etc.) and familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent), plus strong production ownership including on-call.

## Description

* Design and build the systems that define our plans, pricing, entitlements, and limits, and expose them through our API.
 * Decompose billing from our monolith into services that are correct, testable, and independently deployable.
 * Own correctness end to end - usage metering, reconciliation, and the invoices and usage data customers see.
 * Operate what you build: SLOs, alerting, on-call, and fixing root causes rather than repeating mitigations.
